Evolution is a process of change or growth over time.  To evolve as a BIPOC in a world set up to watch your failure is an act of resistance.  Nothing in life is static.  We cannot expect relationships, healing, love, struggle, and most importantly, ourselves, to remain the same.  

Evolution Counseling Services is guided by intersectionality (the connections between class, race, sexual orientation, religion, creed, disability, gender) and how that shapes every individual's mental wellness. Our mission is to dismantle outdated and inaccessible concepts of therapy and provide services that speak your language and culture. We believe that symptoms related to depression, anxiety and trauma, particularly generational trauma, are direct consequences of patriarchy, late stage capitalism, cycles of violence and abuse, racism, sexism, homophobia, fatphobia, ableism and Neoliberal colonialism, just to name a few.

Evolution Counseling Services is LGBTQ+ affirming, centered around the narratives of survivors of sexual abuse and violence, and believes that Black Lives Matter.  The practice is owned and operated by Yadira Enriquez, LCSW 70115.
